What I miss MOST about Heights..:
A kaleidoscope of friends and acquaintances from so many different backgrounds. Learning as much in the courtyard and social room as in class. Having the time for so many outside activities. Extraordinary teachers who really cared. The feeling that anything is possible. Being surrounded by your closest friends. Driving a car that could seat 17 comfortably. The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Being young and carefree, even if we didn't know it.
What I miss LEAST about Heights..:
Cliques, fights, all the insecurity and teenage angst that you think you're the only one facing.
From David:
What a compelling walk down memory lane! I am pleased to learn that so many of our classmates are happy and well.
As for me, after living in several different locations over the years, I moved back to Cleveland with my wife Shelley in August of 2005. I work at home (when not traveling) for a Boston-based company called Phase Forward (
www.phaseforward.com). It's been great reconnecting with a few old friends since moving back, and I'd love to hear from any of the old gang.
See you at the reunion!
